Well... It's fall. Officially. My favorite holiday is past, Christmas decorations are up in the stores, and we've had to turn our clocks back an hour. While I greatly enjoyed that extra hour of sleep, I am not liking the looming grey storm clouds of doom that will soon be dumping snow all over my life. Time to dig out the vitamin D pills.
Okay, with that off my chest let's move on to what's going to be happening here at the Catwalk. I'm not taking a hiatus but as you've seen my updates have been a bit slow and that's simply because I'm working and trying to finish college, so things will continue to be only that - slow. I do try to check in every other day if not everyday to be sure I have all the submissions in, so if you're a day or two late, no worries. It'll still count if I don't have the polls up yet. And speaking of polls... Sorry. You'll understand why soon enough.
Also, in order to declutter the front page of the group, you can now access the current challenges from the directory on the top left hand side. An extra step, I know, but the long line of scrolling was getting monotonous.
So, what else... OH! We are going to be doing the Fashion for a Cause charity again this year. I will get the initial info up sometime this week. I'll give you the basics now though. We will be accepting PayPal donations (just like last time) if you don't want to participate. Any amount is fine and we will be accepting non-participant donations up until the end of the challenge. HOWEVER, if you want to participate it is a minimum of a 5$ donation.* Sign-up will begin on November 16th and go until November 30th. All submissions will be due by January 2nd. Depending on how many participants and how much in donations we recieve will determine how the donations are made. If you are interested in participating you will get a chance to sign up in the comments when I post the journal. If you'd like to donate, you may comment or send me a note and I'll give you the PayPal address.
Now then, I'm off to update the page.
*Yes, I will allow them to be mailed in this year so long as it can be in by the sign-up deadline. I will take a picture of the envelope and money and email it to the participant as proof, as well as, a screen shot of the PayPal account showing it added - checks will be blacked out where needed.
